Being absent landowners, still living down state, you worked with us via email and telephone. Our one meeting with you was very beneficial in helping us stay within our budget. When the preliminary plans were given to our contractor, you worked directly with him to complete details that he needed. Building and living in a remote area brings many challenges. You took that into consideration and came through for us, giving us economical design assistance. You helped us make our dream come true. I would like to take a moment to recognize and thank you for your efforts that surely played an important roll in helping our company close the construction project in Traverse City. With the client being a General Contractor it was easy for him to see the value in your drawings. The detailed roof system, building sections and intricate steel detailing, along with numerous log connections allowed the contractor to understand how the project was to be constructed. After a recommendation of a neighbor, we contacted Mike Kasuske, ZKE Design, regarding a remodeling/kitchen addition project to our home. Our home was a log cabin chalet, originally built in the 1930’s with extensive remodeling done in the 1970’s. Mike successfully incorporated our ideas with his creativity to our design plans. The plans were easily adaptable by our builder and subcontractors. The end result was the completion of the project and we were very happy with the outcome.
